The Section uses a bulk mailing service called Constant Contact to send out notices to interested parties and maintain email lists. The emails primarily are to announce that a new issue of our newsletter has been posted on our website (Figure 1). Additional information about our monthly meetings, employment vacancies, and volunteer opportunities are included. We add members to our email list with a welcoming email (Figure 2). The site also gathers tracking information (Table 1).
Our Open rate is
similar to other non-profits’ average (20%) while our click rate
is below average (12%).

Clicks: Contacts who clicked from an email to our website.
